A talk on young learners’ assessment in the classroom 

 

 

The young learner classroom can be a stimulating and encouraging environment for students but also equip them with the skills they need to pass a variety of assessments that truly show what they know.

Michael Tomlinson

Michael has been teaching English since 1989. He has worked in the UK, Turkey, Spain and Sweden, with students of all ages and proficiency levels. He is currently a teacher at Star English, Murcia. He has also led numerous teacher training talks and workshops in Europe, Central and South America and Asia. His publications include the Primary iBox software, six ‘Primary Box’ titles in the Cambridge Copy Collection, the seven level Primary course ‘Power Up’ and the seven level Primary course ‘Kid’s Box’, all co-authored with Caroline Nixon.
